Hui鈥檃n Stone Carvings Enter Europe

Hui鈥檃n Stone Carvings are to appear on the
European market this September. As reported from
Hui鈥檃n county office that the local government
is organizing the local stone enterprises to
develop the European market and the first
delegate will start at the end of May. This is
the first step taken by Hui鈥檃n stone industry
who has taken Japan and the south-east Asia as
the main markets for long to explore new business
for their stone products.  


It is reported that most of the stone carving
enterprises of Hui鈥檃n are mainly located in the
town of Chongwu .The local stone association in
Chongwu has more than 100 member enterprises.
Their export amount reached 3 billion yuan last
year. Since the European continent has a
population of more than 20 million ,the market
for the tombstone and the fence is big . However,
Hui鈥檃n stone industry has great advantage on
these products considering the quality and the
price when comparing with India who is the main
supplier of the stone products to Europe now.


The purpose of this trip is to find out the
difference between the local products and those
on the European market and try to bridge the gap
to meet the European demand.The delegate will
take Italian International Stone Fair as a chance
to compete on the international stone market.
