BMW sales up by more than 50% in China |

Jan. 12, 2007 (China Knowledge) – BMW announced on Thursday that its car sales in China has increased by 51.3%. Total sales came to 36,357 cars, up from 24,025 in 2005. Sales of BMW brands rose 49.6% to 35,300 units, with Minis up 145.8% to 1,057 units. BMW added that sales in Greater China, which includes the Mainland, Taiwan, Hong Kong and Macau, rose 35.4% year-on-year to 44,710 units.
