Feb 2, 2007 (China Knowledge) – Air China, the country's largest international carrier, will replace president Ma Xulun with vice-president Cai Jianjiang. The board had approved the appointment, the company said, without providing a reason for the change. Ma joined Air China as vice-president in December 1998 after working as vice-director-general of finance in the General Administration of Civil Aviation for less than two years. The carrier planned to add 24 aircraft to its fleet this year, said Rao Xinyu, head of the carrier’s investor relations in Beijing. The firm had 207 aircraft flying 77 domestic routes and 38 international routes last year.
