India becomes China's 10th largest trading partner

Feb. 13, 2007 (China Knowledge) – India overtook Canada to become China's tenth largest trading partner in January.
According to the latest customs statistics, monthly trade between China and India soared 63.3% to US$2.63 billion, while Sino-Canadian trade volume stood at US$2.23 billion in January.
The E.U., the U.S. and Japan remained China's top three trading partners during the period. According to the General Administration of Customs, bilateral trade volume with the E.U. increased by 37.9% to US$26.46 billion, the U.S. by 27.8% to US$23.43 billion, and Japan by 26.5% to US$17.51 billion.
