Feb. 28, 2007 (China Knowledge) – Beauty China Holdings Ltd. <B15>, a Mainland-based company which owns and manages cosmetics and skincare brands Colour Zone and CharmingLady, announced Tuesday the acquisition of a new manufacturing facility based in Zhuhai for HK$293 million.

The plant, with a total gross floor area of approximately 32,803 sq m, has a production capacity of about 132 million units of cosmetic products. Full production is expected to commence by Jul. 31 pending approval from the Chinese authorities.

According to Beauty China’s press release, the acquisition is part of the company’s move to strengthen its position in the market.
